SSSC Trail Ride – Danville Georgetown

UPDATE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER
South Seattle Saddle Club is reviving our long-standing tradition of trail rides, inspiring riders to get back on their horses and stay in the saddle year-round—even during the off-season. We explore trails throughout the Pacific Northwest, with a mix of short, local rides and special overnight adventures. By connecting riders with nature and community, we promote responsible horsemanship, trail etiquette, and safety. Our mission is to foster a supportive group where riders of all levels can learn, share experiences, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors on horseback.
Saturday March 15 at 12pm
Danville Georgetown Open Space Trail
SE 262nd St, Ravensdale, WA 98051
Join South Seattle Saddle Club Members Lyndsey San Sebastian and Anita Chandler for a fun loop around Danville Georgetown. This is a beginner safe route and all disciplines are welcome. We’ll weave in and out of heavily forested areas. Trails are well maintained with no water crossings. Easy parking next to road – pull in, pull out – no backing up required. Park on the same side of the road as the school. Everyone meet at the trail head (next to the horse crosswalk) at 12pm for a quick meet and greet before we head out. Pack water and a snack as we’ll plan for quick break in the middle.
