Spring is here, and it’s time to get the club ready for the season! We’d love for you to join us this Saturday, April 5, at 9 AM for our first work party of the year, followed by the annual South Seattle Saddle Club Easter Egg Hunt & Potluck at 11 AM.

Work Party – 9 AM

There’s plenty to do, and we need all hands on deck! Our tasks for the day include:
• Turning on the water
• Cleaning the bathrooms, office, and kitchen
• Installing the hot water tank in the kitchen
• Picking up downed trees and branches
• Weed-eating around the arena, kitchen, office, bathrooms, pump house, round pen, and tractor shed
• Clearing blackberry bushes from the entrance fence and front road
• Splitting and stacking firewood (we’ll have a wood splitter available)
• Pressure washing the Connex roof in preparation for sealing

Easter Egg Hunt & Potluck – 11 AM

After the work party, we’ll continue the fun with our annual Easter Egg Hunt and potluck! The club will be providing ham, so please bring a side dish to share.

If you’re bringing children, please bring half a dozen candy-filled or hard-boiled eggs per child to contribute to the hunt. Members and their invited guests are welcome!
