Founded in 1945 just south of downtown Seattle, South Seattle Saddle Club (SSSC) is a not-for-profit, member-owned and maintained equine facility with a rich history and deep roots in the Pacific Northwest horse community. In 1965, the club relocated to beautiful Maple Valley, Washington, where it continues to thrive as a vibrant gathering place for horse lovers of all disciplines.

Over the decades, SSSC has hosted a variety of iconic events—from the historic Maple Valley Days celebrations to the infamous mud bog races of the 1980s. Today, we are proud to be the home of Washington State Patterned Speed Horse Association (PSHA), the Pacer League (Washington Horseshoe Pitching Association), and Trinity Trails Newly added trail obstacle course!

Our club offers a wide range of activities for riders of all levels and interests, including our popular Play Days, the Chasing the Sun Barrel Series, a brand-new trail course, and monthly rides through the Pacific Northwest with the South Seattle Trail Riding Group.
