SOUTH SEATTLE SADDLE CLUB
Dating back to 1945, South Seattle Saddle Club is a not-for-profit, member owned and maintained equine facility that got its start just south of downtown, before relocating to Maple Valley, WA in 1965. The club has been host to the historical Maple Valley Days as well as the infamous mud bog races in the 1980s. Since then, we’ve become host of Washington state Patterned Speed Horses Association events, the home of the ‘Pace League’ (Washington Horseshoe Pitching Association), and countless other community and equine events.
