Eligible youth riders may roll their Open run time into the Youth Division or choose to make a separate Youth run. Riders entering both divisions must pay both entry fees.

Western long sleeve, boots, and hat/helmet required
This race is about riding for something bigger than points or jackpots—every run helps support girls navigating scoliosis through Curvy Girls.

RIDE FOR A REASON MOMMY-DAUGHTER BARREL RACE
The heart of the event—and a crowd favorite.
This event is about showing up, having fun, and raising money for a meaningful cause.

Team Auction Begins: 4:00 PM
Barrel Race Begins: 5:00 PM
TEAM FORMAT
Teams consist of:
- One female adult
- One female youth
“Mother & Daughter” can be:
- Mom
- Grandma
- Aunt
- Cousin
- Mentor
- Best friend
HOW THE RACE WORKS
- Teams will share the SAME horse for both runs
- All youth riders run first
- Adult riders follow
- Combined team times determine placing
- Time allowed for tack/saddle adjustments between runs as needed
- 5-second penalty for each knocked-over barrel
- Helmets are REQUIRED for all riders
This event is designed to be fun, encouraging, and centered around teamwork and connection—not just speed.
TEAM EXPERIENCE
Each team will submit:
- Team Name
- Ride Song
- Short Bio
Bios and songs will be shared during introductions before the auction.
Teams are HIGHLY encouraged to:
- Dress up
- Coordinate outfits
- Bring the energy
- Have fun with it
The more spirit you bring, the more money you help raise.
LIVE TEAM AUCTION
Before the race begins, each team will be introduced and auctioned off live to the crowd.
Spectators will bid on their favorite teams, with the highest bidder “owning” that team for the race.
Personality, creativity, and heart matter more than speed.
AUCTION FORMAT

Winning bids must be paid at the office before racing begins.
